Moi je n’aimais pas le cirque.<\/p>\n

Les clowns, les animaux, le folklore,
\nRien m’attirait – voire m\u00eame m\u2019insupportais.<\/p>\n

En fait je crois surtout que je n’avais rien compris \u00e0 l’art du cirque.
\nJe ne faisais que voir, alors qu’il me fallait vraiment le regarder.<\/p>\n

Oublier mes aprioris, et me laisser porter,
\nPar les rires des enfants, et la joie exquise de mon fils,
\nPour retrouver mon regard d’enfant, pr\u00eat \u00e0 s’\u00e9blouir,
\nMe laisser surprendre, et me surprendre \u00e0 aimer.<\/p>\n

Cet \u00e9t\u00e9, au cirque Zavatta<\/a>, j’ai enfin compris l’art du cirque.
\nCelui qui nous fait nous \u00e9merveiller.<\/p>\n

I do not like the circus.<\/p>\n

The clowns, the animals, the folklore,
\nNothing appealed to me – even more I hated it.<\/p>\n

In fact, I think more than anything, I did not understand the art of circus.
\nAll I did was see, when actually I needed was to really look.<\/p>\n

Forget my preconceptions and let go,
\nGuided by the children’s laughter,
\nAnd the exquisite sound of my son’s joy.
\nRenew with my childerhood, and my naive eyes,
\nReady to be dazzled and surprised.<\/p>\n

This summer, at the circus Zavatta<\/a>,
\nI might have finally understood the art of circus,
\nThe one that makes us all marvel and wonder.<\/p>\n
